Christopher T. Craig spent decades building skills and knowledge to serve his clients. He currently represents limited liability companies, stock and tax-exempt non-profit corporations and partnerships in business, drafting and negotiating contracts, human resource and employment matters, litigation, intellectual property, and a range of other practice areas affecting business associations. Chris also practices federal and state election law, and he represents individuals and fiduciaries in estate planning, administration, and litigation. He relishes the opportunity to serve both his clients and his community using his vast experience.
While attending the Antonin Scalia School of Law at George Mason University, Chris worked as a legislative analyst for the government affairs and lobbying firms of Albers & Co., Inc. and the Center for State Policy Research, where he gained invaluable experience and insight into governance, lawmaking and regulatory affairs. After law school graduation, he joined the law firm of Herge, Sparks & Christopher, later becoming a partner in the successor law firm, Sparks & Craig, LLP before joining Cook Craig and Francuzenko as a partner.
Chris is committed to serving his community in a variety of ways. He has served as Chairman of both the Braddock Magisterial District Citizens Budget Advisory Committee and the Transportation and Land Use Committee. Additionally, he served as the District Commissioner to the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority for almost 10 years and was the Braddock District representative to the 2011 Citizen Advisory Reapportionment Committee. He is active and involved in the communities in which he lives, practices, and goes to church.
Mr. Craig was very helpful, professional, and communicative. I have already recommended him to one other person with similar needs regarding the disposition of an estate.
I was referred to this firm by my local attorney. From the initial contact by Christopher, I knew I was in good hands and being represented by legal professionals who understood the assignment. Christopher was extremely personable, understanding, and respectful. He took the time to listen to my concerns and work with the available resources. With a 72 hour notice, he filed necessary motions and handled my case with care. We had a positive outcome and it wouldn’t have been possible without the attentiveness of this firm. They’re amazing attorneys who look beyond limitations!
