Megan Phelan began her legal career over 15 years ago, starting as support staff before transitioning into office management. She joined Cook Craig & Francuzenko PLLC as the Firm Administrator in 2018.
Megan manages the firm’s operations, to include all aspects of human resources, omnichannel marketing, and strategic planning, as well as facilities and IT management. She also handles the firm’s financial administration, including client billing, vendor management, and accounts payable.
Having a passion for human resources, Megan pursued and passed the senior level HR certification exams through HRCI and SHRM in 2021, having previously passed the professional level of the exams in 2017.
Megan enjoys networking and being active in the legal and HR communities. She has been a member of the Northern Virginia Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) chapter since 2015. She currently sits on the committee for the annual Virginia ALA Statewide Conference. Megan was the NOVA ALA chapter president from 2017 to 2019 and was nominated to serve again from 2022 to 2023. She is also a member of SHRM Northern Virginia and HR Advisory.
