Melizza Zavala Duran

Melizza Duran, a Virginia native, has worked in the legal field for three years. She supports John Cook in the areas of employment law, personal injury, business law, and qui tam actions.


Melizza is interested in law and aspires to become an attorney in immigration and criminal defense. Melizza began law school at the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in fall 2021. She is a dog lover who is the proud owner of three Huskies. She is bilingual and speaks Spanish fluently.
